OUR PROGRAMS

 

Each Program is designed to offer a fun and educational learning experience while preparing each child for the next stage of their development. Destiny Childcare & Development Center uses the Creative Curriculum for each development level and classroom. We also implement the Ohio Department of Education Learning Standards for Kindergarten as a guide for Kindergarten Readiness.

Infants/ Mobile Infants

(6 weeks-18months)

Destiny Childcare Development Center offers each infant/ mobile infant in its care a secure, home-like environment that allows for them to grow and explore. Individualized attention and experiences along with meaningful partnerships with parents are what makes the Infant Care so rich at DCDC. The care and learning experiences provided are designed to promote the rapid brain development that occurs during the first year.

Toddlers (18 months- 36 months)

Destiny Childcare and Development Center’s Toddler program is designed to help children discover the world around them by using hands-on exploration and social interaction in safe, engaging surroundings. Our early childhood development professionals engage and guide toddlers through enjoyable learning experiences that promote developing independence and social skills, and foster self-confidence, and introductory reading skills. The learning structure for our toddlers is also designed to adapt to each individual child’s age and stage. Experienced teachers promote emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development in a fun, engaging environment.

 

Pre-School (3-5 years)

Destiny Childcare & Development Center offers a comprehensive program that prepares our children for Kindergarten. Our Highly- Qualified teachers offer learning experiences that are strategically designed to stimulate physical, social and emotional, and cognitive development. These fun and integrated learning practices allow children to explore and discover all while being properly nurtured for Kindergarten. Children are also given individualized learning experiences to further enhance their unique learning styles, creativity, confidence, and critical thinking skills. 

 

School- Age (6yrs- 12yrs)

Destiny Childcare & Development Center offers a before- and after-school care program that gives children time to learn, complete along with time to play. Our staff serves as a support help the children complete homework, and engage in sports and other physical activities. The Before-and-after School care program  bridges the time between school and a parent's work schedule.

Destiny Childcare and Development Center also provides full-time child care during school breaks and summer vacation. Our summer camp program allows children to explore and stay active through sports activities, swimming, field trips, more!
